Principles and Tools for improving Production Management
The key objective of production management is to ensure customer satisfaction and to achieve this efficiently. The customer satisfaction is supported by good delivery performance such as delivery on time and short lead times, while for efficient production, inventory is minimized and capacity utilization optimized.
Turbo is a two-day production planning and control as well as production management training course. The course explores the production activities of a manufacturer from various angles: production / operations strategy, sales and operations planning, material and capacity planning as well as measuring and improving production.
In-class teaching on the course is followed by an individual report aimed at deepening the learnings during the course by applying it either to your own company or to an imaginary situation. Ideally, this work will lead to concrete development projects in the company. In addition to a course certificate and grade, participants will receive personal written feedback on their report.
Note that this program is held in Finnish.
Turbo provides the basic body of knowledge on production planning and control, production management as well as development of an industrial company and helps you to understand the key role of production as part of business competitiveness and customer service as a whole. Turbo can also be used as a refresher and update of your knowledge on the basics.
The target group is production planners, production team leaders and production middle management who have no theoretical knowledge on the basics of production management or who want to revise the basics and gain new ways of thinking. The training is also beneficial for people working in operations close to production (e.g. order management, purchasing, logistics).
